Debt Capital

In general, borrowed capital refers to funds of a natural or legal person (i.e. primarily private individuals and companies) that do not originate from their own property, but are provided by a third party from their capital.

The lender is called the creditor, while the borrower, as an associated partner, is simply called the debtor.
