Trustee

A trustee acts on behalf of one or more trustors, with clear rights and responsibilities outlined in a contractual agreement. In Switzerland, the term "treuhänder" encompasses various professions such as tax consultants and business lawyers. In the English-speaking world, the term "Trust" roughly corresponds to the German concept of trusteeship. The term "escrow" is often used for an escrow account in economic contexts. A trust commanditist allows indirect participation in a limited partnership through a trustee, enabling the investor to exercise rights and fulfill obligations indirectly through the trustee.
